About Us

Welcome to St John's Primary School. We are proud to be the parish school of St John. We are a one form entry school with 195 pupils aged from 3-11. We aim to create a positive learning environment that nurtures, supports and inspires each of our pupils to develop into enthusiastic, caring and successful learners. 

Our core values of "Thinking, Learning, Caring" are at the heart of everything we do. We believe the purpose of education is to provide our pupils with a rich, meaningful, aspirational and engaging learning experience, in order to inspire our learners  to reach their full potential.

St John's School places a strong emphasis on working in partnership with parents and our local community. We pride ourselves in having an open door policy and warmly welcome parents and visitors to our school.
